Stephens Gaskets PPE face visors are currently being delivered to frontline NHS, Doctors surgeries and care homes across the country. As well as high street hospitality chains such as Wagamama’s, Frankie & Benny’s, manufacturing and construction companies.
In a bid to alleviate some of the emerging challenges of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) for those working to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Stephens Gaskets has purpose-designed protective face visors for NHS and key workers across the country.
Stephens Gaskets created the face visors to ensure that the PPE provided was not only safe, but also comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Already a leading UK manufacturer and plastics supplier, they repurposed part of their West Midlands based factory to enable the design and manufacture of EN166 certified and CE marked PPE face visors.
To ensure that the face visors reached NHS staff and healthcare facilities as quickly as possible, the team used their established logistics centres to deliver the PPE.
Piers Baynton Senior Engineer at Stephens Gaskets said: “As a trusted UK manufacturer, it goes without saying that we wanted to help our NHS and to ensure they are able to do their job comfortably and safely. We are extremely grateful for all that they have done for the country throughout these unprecedented times and all that they continue to do. We felt it was our responsibility to use the engineering, design and manufacturing capabilities already in place to positively impact the ongoing circumstances.
We are very proud to play a part in keeping our front line workers safe, and to hear that our efforts to manufacture and deliver PPE has been warmly received, makes it truly worthwhile.”
